Harrison Saunders
Harrison Saunders is a composer, working as an audio tech, with an Associate in Arts Degree with a certificate in Audio Engineering. As a percussionist for ten years, his focus has been mainly on instrumental pieces. He draws inspiration from the soundtracks of video games he played as a child to compose his own music.
From the moment he could walk, Harrison was drawn to music. “I remember waking up one Christmas morning to a very small, simple keyboard. I was obsessed with it for years.” He continued nurturing his craft by joining his schools’ band programs from elementary school until his high school graduation when he suddenly stepped away from the art. This only ignited his passion for music further. After two years away from the musical arts, Harrison was once again drawn to his keyboard. “I felt like there was something missing in my life. I knew I couldn’t stay away from music.” He broadened his range of musical interests, finding new artists with unique compositions and tastes. “I believe that every creator’s style is a glimpse into their mind, their individuality as people.”
Using Reason, he creates original music based on the mood of what’s around him. Anything he can make a sound from can and will be included into his pieces. If he’s not working on his next score, you can find him hiking with his girlfriend and their 3 dogs.
