Austin Slade is a composer, producer, and technical sound designer from Austin, Texas that specializes in adaptive music for video games.
Getting his start with music at the age of 9, there was certainly no shortage of musical inspiration in the Texas Hill Country, growing up in the shadow of great guitar players such as Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Johnson. As he grew older, and began to take music more seriously, focus shifted from blues to classical, and eventually to music for visual media.
He made his first video game score at the age of 18 for a student project while at school on a classical singing scholarship and never looked back. Today, his work experience mostly consists of orchestral fusion that is programable and adaptive for video games.
